Amp Tweaker are renowned for their brilliant drive pedals. Establishing this reputation is not easy in such a competitive market, and to stay ahead of the game they have introduced a raft of Jr. pedals. Boasting the same amazing tones that we love, these pedals are in a smaller, more pedalboard-friendly enclosure.
Everything You Need:
The Blues Fuzz Jr. takes the essential features of the original and rare limited edition Blues Fuzz. Using lower gain germanium transistors to the standard Fuzz Jr. pedal, the Blues Fuzz offer slightly cleaner and more open fuzz sounds that are perfect for (you guessed it) blues!
Giving you great flexibility, the inclusion of a Tight/Normal/Fat switch lets you adjust the attack and response of the fuzz. If you want a thick and gnarly fuzz tone then the Fat mode delivers, whereas the Normal mode offers a full-bodied sound with lots character. Switch to the Tight setting to shelve some low-end, giving you a more aggressive tone that will cut through in busy mixes - ideal for leads.
Versatile EQ Options:
Like with most drive/fuzz pedals, a single tone control will let you brighten your sound with more top-end sparkle. The Blues Fuzz Jr. features this, however the addition of a mid control gives you much more control over the way you want your fuzz to sound.
The Boost switch will drive the pedal more, giving you more saturation and a richer tone. This is similar to when you stack overdrive pedals.
Here's what Amp Tweaker say about the Blues Fuzz Jr. Pedal:
The original 49 piece limited edition BluesFuzz has been converted into both guitar and Bass JR models, and on these there's a Boost switch for a bit heavier fuzz, as well as a Mid control that helps you dial in the all important midrange tone. As before, these models use lower gain germanium transistors, so they're excellent for cleaner bluesey tones. The bass version is tweaked for a lower EQ positions, and includes our popular Dry Low control to blend in clean lowend.
The pedals all include true bypass switching, 9-18VDC operation for heavier to cleaner, more dynamic tones, and a thumbscrew- removable bottom plate with special holes to even accommodate tie-wrap or screw-in pedalboard attachment methods.
