The Sound Of Real Delay
If I was to say MN3005 Bucket Brigade chip would that mean anything to you? Yes? Then you already know just how amazing this pedal will sound. If no, these chips are some of the cleanest sounding most versatile delay chips with a delay time of up to 550ms and strong bright attack these are the delay chips that beat everything else. Add in some sweet tape like modulation over the top like this pedal has and you have a real stunning sounding delay that can fit almost any style from simple short slaps to long, ambient oscillating drones,
So Many Controls!
One of the things that Chase Bliss Audio does to nearly all of their gear is use real all analogue tone circuits with a digital brain. This brain is nowhere near the tone circuit but gives you extra control over every possible part of the pedal without it having to be as wide as your pedalboard. That is how they have managed to put 16 little dip switches on the back of the pedal so you can craft this pedal to be as vintage inspired or as absolutely crazy and modern as you want.
Here's what Chase Bliss say about the Tonal Recall
Forget everything you know about analog delay, this one's different. Built around a pair of re-issued versions of the legendary MN3005 bucket-brigade delay chips, the unmistakable analog character of this delay is front and center along with its velvety tape-like modulation. Tonal Recall expands upon the classic vintage sounds associated with analog delays of yesteryear while bringing modern amenities such as tap tempo, optional bypass with trails, expression control over any parameter, and the ability to save presets. Every knob and switch is connected to a little digital brain while your guitar signal stays 100% analog the entire time and never gets digitally processed. Since the control of the effect is digital, it opens up unprecedented effects and features that have never been heard or offered in analog stompboxes.
