SKU: PULPNPEEL-V2
The compression pedal for those who don't like compressors. The JHS Pedals Pulp 'N' Peel is the result of over six years of tonal tweaking, finding the perfect juicy slice of orange across all your guitar frequencies.
What's new in V4?
Version 4 of the Pulp 'N' Peel brings a new and improved detection circuit for a tighter hold on your tone, all the while allowing the signal to breathe long sustain. There's also plenty more headroom to dial in, as well as a built-in parallel overdrive and tone control for an even more flavoursome palette of sounds.
Controls
It's a simple setup. Bring the best out of your guitar tone by edging out any harsh frequencies from you playing, all the while bringing softer touches to the fore.
Volume and compression are easy to manage and you'll notice the difference as soon as you turn the sensitive dials. The blend control works similar to the faders on a mixing desk, combining the wet compressed signal with the dry tone. Meanwhile, EQ lets you adjust the overall brightness or darkness of the sound.
The dirt toggle is a complete drive circuit! Flick it on and adjust the side trim pot to your overdrive taste. This works in particularly well for players missing a key tonal ingredient.
Direct Out
Run the Pulp 'N' Peel straight into a mixer or audio interface. This is extremely handy if you're using a compact amp-less setup, either live or fore recording. The Pulp 'N' Peel acts as the final stop-check in the chain for your guitar tone.
