Mr Black say this pedal sounds like an ocean of diamonds and I can believe it. The Mr Black Double Chorus has a sound you won't have been able to get from a single pedal before. This pedal loves nothing more than to push your sound deep into the depths of the ocean with wonderful wet chorus.
What Makes It Tick
They key to this extreme chorus comes from its use of 4 modulated delay lines. These different delay lines lead to a sound that is multi-dimensional in character, imagine plugging in 4 chorus pedals together and setting them all to slightly different settings, you are starting to get close to what this can do. Don't worry it isn't always quite so extreme, just turn down the mix, width and rate controls to reign it in and get a soft airy tone through your amplifier.
Just How Wet Is It?
Well...how wet do you want to go? Even at what would be medium settings on most chorus pedals the DoubleChorus is about twice as deep. You can pull it back into the normal realms but where is the fun in that! This is a complete transformation of your sound and for any fan of chorus subtle or extreme this is a must have pedal.
