Product Description

The Squier Classic Vibe series is immensely popular. Comprising a diverse range of guitars based on vintage Fender models from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, the Squier Classic Vibe lineup boasts some of the best bang-for-your-buck instruments out there.

This limited edition FSR Classic Vibe '70s Telecaster Deluxe really stands out from the crowd with its stunning retro sparkle finish! Equipped with powerful Fender-designed 'Wide Range' humbuckers, this model also sports a gorgeous 4-ply white pearloid pickguard and the iconic '70s "oversized" headstock.

Solid Construction

Squier's FSR Classic Vibe '70s Telecaster Deluxe features a lightweight Poplar body that serves as a balanced tonal foundation for its potent humbucker pairing. The body is joined to a comfortable 'C'-shaped Maple neck, which brings out plenty of upper mid-range bite and top-end vibrancy - giving notes a snappy and immediate response.

Fender-Designed Wide Range Humbuckers

The Telecaster Deluxe has always been distinctive for its dual-humbucker pickup configuration, making it one of Fender's fattest-sounding guitars. The Squier FSR Classic Vibe '70s Telecaster Deluxe adheres to this classic formula, and sports two Fender-designed 'Wide Range' humbuckers that deliver a full sound with plenty of dynamic scope.

Use the 3-way pickup switch to select the barking bridge pickup, the warm neck humbucker, or both for a more balanced voice. Further control is provided via the independent volume and tone controls for each pickup too!

All the hype about the Squier Classic Vibe Series proved to be true. The guitar arrived perfectly set up and sounds spectacular, and obviously the special run of purple sparkle cannot be beaten :-)

Mr Stepan Dusek3rd Dec 2020

It's a sparkly purple telecaster. That itself can't be bad but this one is not just amazing looks but it's an excellent sound for ultra-reasonable price.

I am guessing the Andertons took care of the fret ends. I can't imagine they came from the factory perfectly, but if I am wrong good for them. The tuners are cheap but they keep the guitar in tune wonderfully so I am going to keep them. They have slot in the top to make winding and tuning stability work well. I wish all tuners came this way. The saddles I replaced with Graph Tech saddles and it made a massive improvement to tone and comfort. The saddles that were on there were set so high and the screws actually wore a small indentations in the bridge. and the screws are so long you would either need to make them smaller so they are not stabbing your hand for palm muting or have the action so high that its not really very fun to play. The nut is cheap but works. I thought Andertons had the nut listed as bone which I assumed was an error. I'm not sure what it is but I'm guessing its plastic. It works and it was cut well so I'm not going to bother replacing it anytime soon. The pots are cheap as expected but who uses tone knobs anyhow...lol. I bought this guitar for the looks. Between the color and the nice pick guard (which i usually hate pick guards), It looks even better in person than it did in the photos which is saying something because this looked great in the photos. I'm very happy with this guitar. it's not as high quality as my Schecter but it is my new favorite. I would suggest replacing the saddles for sure. That upgrade went from making the guitar a slight disappointment to being very happy with it. The sound of the pickups are so much better with the action set right also. i didn't have to adjust the pickup height after i put the new saddles on.
