Built Like No Other

Everything from the body and neck carves to the wood choices have been carefully considered and designed to make sure that looks, feel and tone are all top notch. This carved top basswood body with a stunning flamed maple top resonates wonderfully especially with lower tunings keeping your sound tight every night.

The neck is made out of maple with an ebony fingerboard that helps keep you at full speed. As soon as you pick up this guitar you will notice just how smoothly it plays and how nice it feels in the hands. It has been carved to have a thin but comfortable shape that really allows you to go at this guitar full blast.

Hot Hardware

It wouldn't be a Parallaxe if it wasn't filled to the brim with exciting hot new hardware that really helps you cut through the mix. The PXM200 has everything you need to get a wide range of hard rock and metal tones including a set of Duncan Designed Active Humbuckers.

The bridge is fixed into the body so there is no movement there and the Grover 18:1 machine heads make sure that your string doesn't move out of place their either. No matter how hard you hit the strings this guitar is not going out of tune any time soon.

Signature Sound

Trevor Rabin is widely known for being the former guitarist of British progressive band, Yes, for whom he wrote mega-hits such as “Owner of a Lonely Heart”. Since his beginnings in South Africa with his band Rabbitt, Trevor has collaborated with top 40 artists like Michael Jackson, Mr. Mister, Seal, and Tina Turner, to name a few. He is currently a successful film composer, scoring over three dozen films including 10 Jerry Bruckheimer films such as “National Treasure” and "The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”. Working with all these artists on a whole host of musical genres Rabin needs a guitar he can rely on to deliver high quality sound again and again. This guitar has a great build quality and stuinning finish and it's ideal for the rigours of a busy gigging schedule.
