PRS make some of the world' most beautiful guitars. From their premium Private Stock and Core lines through to their more budget focused S2 and SE modes everything they make feels great in the hands and sounds great as well. This guitar is the SE version of their world famous Custom 24 model which has been around since 1985. Made to be a workhorse of a guitar that will work night after night you can't go wrong with one of these.
Since their inception the Custom 24 has always had a very particular build. This guitar follows that beautifully with a Mahogany body topped with Maple and Flamed Maple veneer. These woods keeps it sounding fat in the low end but with a tight high end that gives it the snap for lead playing.
The neck is made out of Maple as well but with a Rosewood fingerboard for the best possible playing surface. Carved in to PRS's much loved Wide Thin profile this guitar feels great for both lead and rhythm playing. There is a reason that so many PRS artists choose the Wide Thin profile for their guitars including Dave Navarro and Mark Tremonti on their SE signature guitars.
Hot Yet Versatile
The pickups in this guitar are based on the amazing HFS and Vintage Bass pickups that for the longest time was used in their Core PRS line. In the bridge position you have the HFS which is known for its high output and fantastic response in the high midrange. In the neck you have the Vintage Bass model that has a more classic output level and works great for clean and crunch tones as well as smooth leads.
Built Like A Tank
Made in South Korea these guitars are built to the highest standards possible and are checked of even the smallest of faults before they even reach the UK. This level of detail means that these guitars will keep on going for years and years even if it spends most of its life on the road. PRS are known for building guitars that feel great straight out of the box and they stay like that.
