Kramer Pacer Vintage Satchel Model in Yellow LeopardLimited Edition
Kramer have had a long history of working with some of the worlds great hair and power metal bands when they were in their prime years ago. So it only made sense that when Steel Panther brought back hair metal in 2009 that Kramer would be the guitar of choice for shred maniac Satchel. Now they have combined forces to make this incredible signature guitar that will surely stand out on any stage.
Simple Shred Machine
Guitars can come in many forms with some that have enough controls to send you into option paralysis and others that opt for a much simpler and stripped back system. This is the later with just a single volume control and tiny 3 way mini toggle switch taking you between the pickups. If you are playing any kind of heavy music this is all you need to rock out on stage especially if you are a lover of speed.
This simple shred idea also feeds the hardware with a Floyd Rose tremolo system and Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB and SH-2n Jazz pickups you can go from rocking rhythms to soaring leads no problem at all. Hot, Heavy and ready to divebomb across the stage this guitar doesn't pretend to be anything but a shredders dream.
Unlike a lot of Super S type guitars the Kramer Pacer Vintage Satchel guitar uses all maple construction. Yep the body, neck and fingerboard are all made out of maple which helps give it a cutting and midrange heavy sound that is needed to make sure your solos cut through the rest of the band.
Here's what Kramer say about the Pace Vintage Satchel Guitar
Satchel is the guitarist for the highly entertaining Hair Metal band Steel Panther. Born on the Sunset Strip they debuted their first album in 2009. Now, with 3 albums and a tour schedule that never seems to end their over the top stage antics and brilliant musicianship has made them one of "the bands to see" worldwide.
We worked closely with Satchel to bring you a production guitar that could compete with his arsenal of custom and vintage Kramer Pacers. We took the Pacer Vintage neck and changed the fingerboard radius to a comfy 9.5" radius and a smooth oil finished neck that will just feel better and better the more it's played. The controls have been stripped down to a simple volume control with a 3-way mini-toggle switch to select the Seymour Duncan SH-4 and SH-2n pickups which are mounted in a Maple body. It is a true and simple shred machine. It is available in either yellow or purple Leopard print.
