The Ibanez RG is a modern classic, with its sharp and elegant aesthetics catching the eyes of many hard rockers and metallers since as far back as the late 80s. The RG970QMZ-BIB is an ultra-modern take on this now iconic design, with its super-versatile H/S/H pickup configuration, Edge-Zero II double-locking tremolo system and a gorgeous Quilted Maple top.
Construction
The RG has always been a stellar instrument built purely for performance. With a lightweight Basswood body, you won't feel strain on your back or shoulders when playing long sets live, and you can expect a full-bodied sound thanks to the wood's balanced tonal qualities.
An 11pc Panga Panga/Maple/Walnut/Purpleheart neck will provide all of the stability you'll ever need, keeping your tuning and setup in check in almost all conditions. A bolt-on construction provides a snappy response with plenty of projection and definition in the mid-range, perfect for letting complex riffs or solos really pop in high-octane, energetic mixes.
Ibanez's signature Wizard neck profile will make fast passages a total breeze to play, with its incredibly thin carve. The super-flat fretboard has been fitted with jumbo frets, to offer you maximum playability up and down the fretboard when playing scales or swept arpeggios. Its elegant off-set inlays are classy but understated, and with ergonomic luminescent side dot inlays you can see exactly where you're at on even the darkest of stages.
Electronics and Hardware
A premium instrument should be fitted with premium parts, and Ibanez have done just that. With three DiMarzio pickups, you can expect optimal tones and power. The notorious Air Norton and Tone Zone humbucker combination (in the neck and bridge positions respectively) is incredibly versatile, handling high doses of gain for heavier styles whilst also sounding clear and vibrant with clean settings. The True Velvet single-coil in the middle position will let you attain S-style tones when used independently, ideal for sweet chord progressions or softly picked sections.
Ibanez's Edge-Zero II double-locking tremolo system will keep this instrument in tune no matter how extreme your divebombs or flutters might be. With all hardware appointments finished in a sleek Cosmo Black, this modern-looking guitar will inspire you to play it for hours on end.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!

You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
