Ibanez JBBM20 JB Brubaker Signature August Burns Red in Green

Written by

Jed Van Wyngaardt

The JBBM20 is the signature axe of choice for August Burns Red guitarist Benjamin JB Brubaker. As you'd expect from a band that likes their tones heavy, this guitar does metal, rock and much more thanks to its powerful EMG pickups.

Ibanez Epic Deal with Rabea, Pete, George, Jake and Jake

Made for metal

When these pickups are combined with the warm-sounding Mahogany body and Gibraltar Standard II bridge for that extra sustain you get a guitar that can lay down a solid foundation for rhythm sounds. The bolt-on 3-piece Maple/Purpleheart neck provide the snap required to cut through the mix! The 3-piece neck also provides more stability than a solid neck would meaning you can gig all around the country without worrying about the action changing night after night.

Lightning fast neck

The JBBM20 has a lightning fast neck for when you want to make the transition from heavy djent riffing to speedy shredding and back again. It's got big frets for those big bends and also means you don't have to 'fight' the guitar to get it to growl.
