Product Description

Fender Classic 70s Strat

With their large headstocks & association with Jimi Hendrix, the Strats of the 70's are as cool now as they've ever been. The Fender Classic 70s Strat looks & feels like a 70s Strat, but is made using modern construction techniques & this improves consistency & also dramatically reduces the price! The U shaped neck profile is slightly different to the more common C shape & Fender have used the same 3 bolt nack plate design that was used throughout most of the 70s on US built Strats. There is no left handed version of this guitar - I guess Fender just expect you to take a right handed one & string it upside down! If it's good enough for Jimi....

Here's what Fender say about the Classic 70s Strat

Unmistakably the sound of the 70s. The Fender 70s Stratocaster guitar features an ash body, U-shaped neck, fat headstock, bullet truss rod, 70s Fender logo, Fender/Schaller Vintage F tuning machines and three vintage single-coil pickups. Available with a maple or rosewood fingerboard, but the platform shoes and lava lamp are sold separately!
