The ESP Eclipse has, over the course of the company's 43-year history, become one of their most popular models. Known for combining classic curves with typically ESP-esque high-output punchiness, it's favoured by countless players worldwide.
The EC-1000 Fluence is the latest in the Eclipse bloodline, and it's a more-than-worthy addition to the range. With the striking Tiger Eye finish and a number of spec tweaks, this is undoubtedly one of the most exciting instruments in ESP's 2018 range!
Body & Neck
First up, one of the Eclipse's defining features is the modern take on the singlecut body shape. Designed with equal parts ergonomics and sexy aesthetics in mind, the EC-1000 perfectly encapsulates what put the EC range on the map.
With a double-barrel mahogany body and neck combination, you can expect plenty of weighty, resonant tone. Combined with an alluring ebony fretboard and flamed maple top, and you've got a truly spellbinding guitar with a colourful tonal palette to match. The ebony and maple additions will ensure plenty of sparkly clarity, ideal for leads and cleans.
It's worth noting that ESP have also gone for the set-thru neck approach. This means a cavity is hollowed out in the body and the neck extended to slot neatly within it. Because of the increased contact area between the body and the neck, the guitar responds with more sustain and richer resonance - what's not to like?
Hardware & Electronics
To add to the EC-1000 Fluence's verging-on-retro appearance, ESP have chosen classic chrome hardware. This includes the LTD locking tuners and the Tonepros Locking TOM & Tailpiece, ensuring tuning stability and sleek looks.
As the name suggests, ESP have also loaded this guitar with Fishman's award-winning Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups. Combined with the aforementioned tonewood cocktail, these pickups deliver a wholly versatile response with plenty of grit in the tank when needed! You've got Alnico in the neck position and Ceramic in the bridge; in other words, warm in the neck and punchy in the bridge!

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
