Limited Edition SG Standard

These guitars were initially made for our friends at Chicago Music Exchange as a limited run, but we've collaborated with them and Gibson to bring these awesome SGs to this side of the pond! Featuring highly sought after 'T-Type' pickups, this classy SG also boasts a tasteful tortoiseshell pickguard that adheres to the original '61 SG shape.

Body & Neck

This beautiful guitar features Gibson’s signature tonewood combinations. A Mahogany body yields focused lows and rich mid-range tones, which is paired with a set Mahogany neck that contributes to the SG's famed piano-like sustain. Adorned with a silky smooth Rosewood fingerboard fitted with medium jumbo frets, you can effortlessly glide up and down this SG's neck - especially with the modern 'Slim Taper' neck profile.

Gibson 'T-Type' Pickups

This limited edition Gibson SG comes installed with a pair of 'T-Type' humbuckers. Exclusive to only this particular model, these pickups have become increasingly desirable among Gibson fans and cannot be bought separately.

Designed to replicate the tones of the 'T-Top' pickups fitted in SG guitars produced between 1968 and 1980, these humbuckers are adored for their balanced output and superb note clarity. Chimey without sacrificing any low-end punch, these pickups utilise Alnico 5 magnets with a low-to-medium resistance for superb dynamic range; exemplified when you roll back the guitar's volume controls.

Reliable Hardware

The limited edition Gibson SG sports a traditional "Tune-O-Matic"-style bridge, which provides a rigid and solid feel under your picking hand. Its simple and accessible design makes it easy to carry out setup tweaks, with the aluminium stopbar enhancing note sustain and resonance.

At the headstock end of the instrument, you'll find a set of Gibson's gorgeous vintage-style 'Keystone' tuners, which allow for precise pitching. The Tektoid nut is another noteworthy feature; a low-friction material that prevents strings from snagging for improved tuning stability.
