Product Description

Hook Amps' Little Lenny II is a pure tone machine with practical, compact proportions. Offering warm, American-voiced valve tones via its 6L6 power section, the Little Lenny II also boasts a luscious tube-driven reverb that allows you to enhance your guitar sounds with vibrant, vintage-inspired ambience.

A 3-band EQ with an additional bright switch lets you dial-in a great tone from the get-go, while the Little Lenny II's simple 1-channel design makes it a fantastic amplifier for pedal enthusiasts who love to have a solid base sound that they can freely embellish with their own overdrive, modulation and time-based effects.

Built-In Speaker Simulator

This modified Little Lenny II comes with the same top-class IR cabinet/speaker simulation technology from Hook's flagship Wizard amplifier, as well as its handy speaker load function. This means that the Little Lenny II can be connected to a PA system or interface using its direct output (without a cab), or hooked up with real a guitar cabinet.

Really recommend this highly. Lovely little amp and perfect for what I needed. My main draw to this was that I tend to have to play and record silently these days, so was drawn to the built in IR / speaker sim. I’d been working with the Kemper for the last couple of years, and although it’s great, it had started to feel noticeably ‘not real’ to me as a guitar player. I had started to massively miss the feel and response of valve amps that I had been use to in my more noisy days! This amp, to me, restores that. It sounds great, and I’m at home with it and the controls right away, but I can have the convenience of DI recording. Also I feel more like the ‘chef’ dialling in the tones I want than I do just flicking through 100’s of profiles on the kemper. It’s good with pedals, which suits me. Lovely with single coils. Hotter pickups sound good too, but ear in mind the head room on it.. with my 335 it breaks up a bit even with amp volume set to 2ish. But that’s not a bad thing as such! Overall - I’m super happy with this and it has brought a lot of joy into my playing and recording.
