The California Tweed 23's open-back design delivers an airy, open tone that allows your guitar and amp sound to really bloom. The Jensen Blackbird alnico speaker has a full-bodied and broad character - balanced mids, big bouncy lows and bell-like highs. This huge-sounding 1x12" cabinet is suitable for a variety of styles, but is particularly apt for crunchy blues tones and soaring cleans.
Solid Construction
All Mesa Boogie amp cabinet enclosures are made using the finest Marine-grade Baltic Birch. This robust material ensures rugged, tour-grade protection for the internal speaker and optimal resonance. The grille material is also made of strong twisted jute dipped in a special coating, which filters out any piercing top-end for a sweeter tonal response.
