Not bad...but quite clichy when recording midi notes ...a lot of doubles.

Easy to install (and to swap between guitars). Software works seamlessly (I use, Windows laptop, MacMini, and an iPad Pro), - no probs on any platform.

Takes some work to get decent results. Annoying that you can only run once instance of TriplePlay at one time in your DAW, which means I have to record the MIDI on that track then copy that data to another track with the same plugin loaded before recording a new sound on the TriplePlay track and doing it over again. Or alternatively recording on the TriplePlay input track and then bouncing what you've done straight to audio. The software is also very CPU intensive. Only advantage over say the Roland GR55 is you don't need to buy the whole expensive floor unit, but the tracking is essentially the same as the Roland GK pickup. Slightly better than the 'JamOrigin' software approach, but not much. Tracking varies from patch to patch on your chosen plugin and with the delicateness/ cleaness of your playing style. You will have to clean up some ghost notes in your DAW after recording each track, even if they are barely audible. Not a major issue. IMHO the TriplePlay won't work for out and out shredders/ legato freaks, unless your picking and muting unused strings is as clean and clinical as Guthrie Govan's. For more chilled Steve Rothery type players you can get decent results.

Easy to fit, works well and gets the results you want. Tracking is very good and it opens up a whole world of sounds to someone that isn’t proficient on keyboard

Product works well but fitting the metal plate to the bridge of a Yamaha sg 1000 was difficult as the metal plate did not fit the bridge and had to be filed to make it fit
