Tradition has not been lost here, hand-built just like in the good old days of the mid 1950's, the SH-1N & B Humbucker has become Seymour Duncan's most popular vintage humbucker.
Here's what Seymour Duncan say about the SH-1N & B Humbucker Set:
Versatile P.A.F.-type humbucker. Great for country, jazz, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock.
This pickup set delivers real-deal vintage tone for your Les Paul® or other double-humbucker guitar. Inside is a matched pair of SH-1 '59 humbuckers, one specially calibrated for the neck position, and one for the bridge.
Designed and hand-built just like the original humbuckers of the late '50s, the '59 is our most popular and most versatile vintage humbucker, perfect for classic rock, blues, jazz, and country. Expect warm and crystalline clean tones, full and bright distortion, and smooth sustain.
Classic appointments include plain enamel wire, long legged bottom plate, Alnico V magnets, and single conductor cable. A wiring diagram and mounting hardware are included. The bridge model is designed for bridges with traditional string spacing of 1.925" or 48.9mm measured over the bridge pickup.Complete Setup
Available in both neck and bridge models. Often a '59 neck is used together with a hotter bridge pickup like the SH-4 JB or SH-13 Dimebucker for extra versatility.
For balanced and warm instruments. Works especially well with mahogany bodies and rosewood fingerboards.
Four-conductor cable. Trembucker. Nickel or gold-plated cover. 7-string version. Seymour Duncan logo. Available in matched set of '59 bridge and '59 neck.
