The Dipper SSS card lets the user preset position three of the five-way pickup selector switch on the guitar's pickguard to yield any combination of the three pickups. Each pickup has a dedicated DIP switch that turns it on or off. When position three of the five-way pickup selector switch is activated, the DIP switch settings determine which pickups are active. This lets you choose any pickup configuration possible-all the standard pickup configurations, plus three very-cool pickup configurations not offered by standard fiveway Stratocaster pickup switching: all three pickups on, all three pickups off for a "stutter"/"kill switch" effect, and the neck and bridge pickups together. Also, the Dipper card applies a fixed "treble-bleed" circuit modification (reduces treble loss when lowering volume), and it increases the amount of treble cut when lowering the tone controls.
