The Dipper HSS card lets the user preset position three of the five-way pickup selector switch on the guitar's pickguard to yield any combination of the three pickups. Each pickup has a dedicated internal DIP switch that turns it on or off. When position three of the five-way pickup selector switch is activated, the DIP switch settings determine which pickups are active. This lets you choose any pickup configuration possible-all the standard pickup configurations, plus three very-cool pickup configurations not offered by standard five-way Stratocaster pickup switching: all three pickups on, all three pickups off for a "stutter"/"kill switch" effect, and the neck and bridge pickups together. Also, the fourth DIP switch splits the humbucking bridge pickup for single-coil tone.
