Gon Bops

It was 1954 when Mariano Bobadilla first created Gon Bops in his father’s garage in Los Angeles. A play on his nickname ‘Bob’ and slang from the time ‘Gone’, Gon Bops took traditional Cuban drum shapes and introduced ground breaking innovation.
