Not only do Friedman make awesome sounding amps, but they also make incredible guitars designed by Dave Friedman himself and renowned guitar builder Grover Jackson (known for his incredible work with Jackson guitars like the Randy Rhoads and Soloist). The Vintage-S is, as the name suggests a classic S-type guitar with vintage looks but some modern feel and versatility.
The Vintage-S has a compounded radius fretboard (which was invented by Grover Jackson) that goes from 10"-14". This way you get the best of both worlds: a more curved radius for comfortably playing chords, and a flatter radius for faster soloing. The Vintage-S is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer which not only gives the guitar a vintage look and feel, it helps the wood breathe and resonate.
They feel like the kind of gem you would find when looking for a guitar from the 60s but with modern technology and stability. Though, playing one still feels like you're playing a familiar instrument.
HSS Configuration
The Vintage-S is not-so-vintage with its HSS pickup configuration. With Friedman Classic Single Coils in the neck and middle you get warm, articulate, classic S-type tones. The Friedman Classic+ is a hotter humbucker than the Classic Humbucker which gives you more crunch and handles higher gain tones better. From soft and bluesy to hard rock bite the Vintage-S will take you where you need to go.
PLEK setups
The PLEK machine was designed in Germany and is used to get an accurate and consistent setup on every guitar that goes through it. The PLEK machine is used for every Friedman guitar to get them all at the high Friedman standard. And before an instrument leaves the work bench, it is signed off by Dave Friedman and Grover Jackson.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
