Product Description

The Fender Redondo Classic doesn't do subtle. This sturdy, robust acoustic was produced to project a big and bold sound from the outset.

Sonic & Visual Presence

A sloped shouldered design gives the Redondo an instantly striking look. It benefits the sound too. Crafted from a solid sitka spruce top and a natural solid mahogany back and sides, this guitar has presence in buckets. Each note sounds decadent, with a brash tone that will immediately turn heads. This has been paired with a lightweight mahogany neck. It boasts a slim-taper, C-shaped profile which is simple to use, comfortable and ready for just about any kind of playing style. It's augmented with a sleek pau ferro fingerboard and bridge, each of which further enhances the already intriguing tone. This all contributes to an unconventional guitar which thrives on the stage.

Impressive Extras

The high-quality build doesn't stop with the aforementioned woods, though. Bracing has been upgraded, benefitting resonance, while leading to a smaller mass. An improved bone nut and saddle adds to this, with a noticeable amount of sustain now present.

Fender and Fishman even collaborated on a preamp system here that's been designed especially for the Redondo Classics unique body shape. When you plug into an amp, you'll find that the tone remains true to the guitars natural voice.
