New Fender California Coast Series Ukuleles!
Fender have just released a new range of affordable ukuleles inspired by the beautiful California Coast - hence the name!
Meet the California Coast Line-Up
The Fender California Coast range consists of ukes in a few different sizes that’ll suit any player, whether you prefer a smaller or big body. Obviously, these ukes offer slightly different tones, but they all feel comfortable in the hands and have been designed to be easy to play.
These Ukes have got some serious style and are made to unlock your creativity out on the road. Or even to keep in the living room at home for a quick jam!
New for 2017!
These ukuleles are available in 3 different body styles, to fit your look and give you a great amount of choice:
Tenor – The largest of the Fender uke body styles. These have a rich, sonorous voice and the slightly longer range offers more fret to grab hold of.
Concert – Slightly larger than a Soprano, with an extended range that feels familiar to guitars, and works for ensemble work.
Soprano –These are great for beginners or players with smaller hands, but still offer great, folky tones.
California Coast Design Elements
These new ukes have been designed with a few key elements that separate them from your standard ukulele:
No Tie Bridge – These instruments have string slots rather than the cutting or interlacing normally required with a ukulele.
4-in-line Headstock – This headstock emulates the famous Telecaster shaped headstock. An iconic design.
Binding – Eye-catching binding will compliment the woods chosen by Fender on these ukes.

What's in the range?
Fender have given you a choice out of 5 new ukuleles:
Venice – Inspired by the entertaining sights and unique, carefree spirit of Venice, California. We created a soprano ukulele that captures its vibe—the Venice Ukulele. Thanks to its compact, comfortable body size, the Venice travels easily from the beach to the studio or jam room while retaining the classic, light sound that made the ukulele a “must-have” for today’s players.
Seaside – When it’s time to kick back and relax by the ocean your steadfast musical companion, the Seaside Ukulele, is always ready with inspiring traditional style and sound. Compact, comfortable and easily portable, this soprano uke is ideal for beginning players or anyone looking to add its light, joyful sound to their music.
Zuma – Alluring and enticing, like the Southern California beach it’s named for, the Zuma Ukulele is an inspiring instrument. Equally at home at the beach or the studio, this concert-sized uke is crafted from sapele. This gives an open-pore finish for a balanced, earthy tone that blends well with other instruments.
Rincon – Packed with elegant style and top-notch features, the tenor-sized Rincon Ukulele has a rich, deep voice that’s uniquely inspiring. “Electrifying” isn’t a word one usually associates with ukuleles, but for players who want to plug in and get loud, the Rincon features an onboard Fishman Kula preamp.
Montecito – Inspired by the California home of many celebrities, this ukulele’s screen-ready looks and headline grabbing features could only have one name—the Montecito Ukulele. Constructed completely from koa, this tenorsized uke has a rich, sonorous tone that matches its elegant aesthetic.
