Fender's Blues Junior is one of the most popular tube amps of all time. It combines the portable nature of a combo with the classy characteristics of an all-tube construction.
The FSR Humboldt model benefits from a speaker upgrade. It houses a powerful, dynamic Hotrod Hempster made by Eminence; a highly-regarded brand in the industry. This vintage-voiced speaker enhances the tonal quality of the EL84 preamp tubes. Ideal crisp, studio-worthy tone.
Natural headroom & Breakup
It's clean headroom provides plenty of range for pedals in front of the amp. But it can also be cranked to get a stunning saturated and gritty overdrive sound.
If you turn the Master control down and the Volume control up you'll push the preamp tubes harder and reduce the overall volume, causing your signal to compress and give you that sought-after bluesy tone.
Fender have improved the preamp circuit in the Blues Junior IV to give you more dynamism and richer response. This may sound like achieving the impossible, but they've simply improved on an already amazing formula.
A new improved Reverb circuit provides smoother ambient tones, no matter how loud you have it's dialled in.
