The start of a new decade, and a completely new guitar lineup for Epiphone. Their 'Original Collection' features an eclectic mix of contemporary and classic electric/acoustic instruments that Epiphone fans worldwide can depend on. But plenty of noise is being made about the Epiphone 'Inspired by Gibson' collection, which offers players stalwart Gibson models like the Les Paul, SG, and the ES-335 at prices that won't break the bank!

Other debuts include the Epiphone UpTown Kat ES Collection, the next generation of Epiphone’s critically acclaimed ES-style archtop, as well as the Les Paul and SG Muse Collection. And for the first time in decades, Epiphone is launching a 'Made in USA' range along with a 'Masterbilt Original Collection'; built overseas and comprised of models that are built using old-world techniques.

The Gibson ‘59 Les Paul might just be the most iconic electric guitar of all time. Considered as the “Holy Grail” among collectors, originals can set you back a few hundred thousand dollars. But now, Epiphone has unveiled its own beautiful take on this timeless instrument - at an affordable price-point!

With accurate specifications and an even more surprising price-tag to boot, the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Outfit offers spellbinding tones and a genuine, vintage-like feel. This looks to be the flagship model in Epiphone’s new ‘Inspired By Gibson’ lineup, and comes complete with Gibson USA pickups, a classy ‘Limited Edition’ control plate, a beautifully smooth worn-in finish and even a hardcase.

Epiphone Prophecy Series Guitars

Information for Epiphone’s new Prophecy series guitars is somewhat limited, but a few of these insanely modern and metal-centric models have been exhibited at the NAMM Show. Based on a number of classic Gibson shapes including Les Pauls, SGs, Flying Vs and Explorers; these contemporary guitars come installed with premium appointments that you’d expect to find on guitars over double their prices!

Fishman Fluence pickups, locking tuners, Ebony fingerboards, 24 frets as standard, fancy inlays and even ergonomic belly cuts give these instruments some serious sonic power and flair. There are also plenty of gorgeous colour options exclusive to the range, including super-slick purple/black and gold/black burst finishes.
