Dreadnought Body Shape

A Dreadnought acoustic has a large body that produces a lot of volume and depth to its sound. This is one of the most popular acoustic types. They’re favoured by blues, country, folk and rock musicians after a warm, natural sound.

Construction

The type of wood an acoustic guitar is made from significantly alters the sound it produces. Sapele is a common, yet distinctive tonewood often used to make the body of an acoustic guitar because of its versatility. A Spruce top adds clarity and colour to the sound of the guitar. The satin finish will protect it against bumps and scrapes and give it a raw, earthy look.

The guitar was a gift for my granddaughter and I can't really comment on the sound and it's too early to comment on durability. She seems very happy with it.

Needed guitar for festivals/camping etc - great low action, decent sound given the crazy low price - delighted with it for the price, if it gets stolen lost or trashed it's no big deal and its incredibly playable - the frets are a bit rough as not rounded off but what do you expect - will prob change strings to a decent set which I think will improve it even more - Superb, would also recommend for anyone starting out who doesn't want to break the bank

Beautiful guitar, that is easy to hold and play. Easy to navigate, and not heavy.

I am in love. I have always wanted a guitar that didn't only look awesome, but sounded awesome as it was my first acoustic guitar and I am a beginner. I saw the reviews online when researching the guitar and it was really helpful that there was a video of it being played. I definitely fell in love with it then, but knew it would be recorded in the best possible way (of course as they are trying to make a sale). I thought it was going to be too good to be true, but when it turned up and I unboxed it, tuned it and played that first C chord... I fell in love there and then. It truly is an awesome guitar. My husband has played and owned many guitars and has been playing since he was 13... but hasn't stopped raving about how good this guitar is and how it sounds. For just over £134, I got the guitar, the case, new strings, a tuner, a capo, plectrums and a strap, all amazing quality and I honestly, can't believe that I got all of that for such a small price. My dad has even said he might be investing in the same deal! If you're unsure, just do it... I have picked it up every day since I got it and have really enjoyed learning on it.

There's two ways of looking at this guitar. It's a good, decent quality acoustic. Nice tones, good fit, finish and feel. The other way is to look at the price. Frankly unbelievable. The only beginner thing about this guitar is the price. Anyone wanting a decent acoustic, from beginner to an electric player who just wants to add an acoustic, this would be a great choice.
