The D’Angelico Bedford combines the modern playability of a solid body guitar utilising a slim ‘C’ shape neck and flat fretboard with the awesome design of an older guitar.
The choice of pickups makes the Bedford a super versatile instrument, whatever model you pick. Either you’re getting a humbucker bridge with a single coil in the neck, or a single coil in the middle flanked by two P-90 pickups. You also have to decide between a stable hard tail or classic tremolo for added tonal options.
You’ll find the Bedford available in two models – the Premier and the Deluxe. The former is the more affordable option, but still comes housing Seymour Duncan-Designed pickups, set-thru neck joint and an ovangkol fingerboard.
The Deluxe is kitted out in premium gear. You’re getting USA-made Seymour Duncan pickups, a pau ferro fretboard and three-piece maple and walnut neck. The Rotomatic Locking tuners will keep your tuning unwaveringly steady combined with the Tusq nut.
