1991 Gibson Custom Shop Byrdland in Metallic Teal

This Gibson Custom Shop Byrdland is a truly unique guitar. Built by Tom Murphy, a Gibson legend, and finished in a striking metallic teal colour, this guitar was a one-of-a-kind build.

You'd be forgiven for not knowing what a Byrdland is as they're not the most common model of Gibson. First introduced in 1955, the Byrdland took the familiar Gibson hollowbody archtop design and made it thinner. As you might expect it's an excellent jazz guitar, but it's also great for blues, funk, and even rock.

This guitar was built by Tom Murphy who has made a name for himself producing the most impressive recreations of vintage Gibson instruments around. You can see Tom Murphy's expert craftsmanship in this guitar with its hand carved solid spruce top, lush metallic teal finish, and just all-around impressive build quality. Other appointments include gold hardware and a bound ebony fingerboard.

With it's stunning, unique aesthetic and high-quality craftsmanship this is truly a one-of-a-kind collector's item.
