This guitar is something really special! The all-new Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition HS Tele Custom Relic combines discerning, exquisite features with a compelling look and addictive playability.

The instrument sports a Josefina hand-wound humbucker in the neck position with a hot Texas Special single-coil in the bridge, while the clever dual-stack HS Tele wiring provides blazing yet balanced tone! The two-piece hand-selected Ash body boasts a worn-in relic lacquer finish and parchment binding, with the gorgeous roasted 3A Flamed Maple neck coming adorned with a flat-lam Rosewood fingerboard featuring 21 narrow tall frets.

Additional appointments include a 3-ply black pickguard, ’58-’63 Tele bridge with compensated brass saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, a bone nut and a single-wing string tree. It also includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.

• 2-Piece Ash Body — Harks back to '50s "Golden Era" Telecasters, giving the instrument a magical and mellow tone with bell-like highs.
• Roasted Flamed Maple Neck — Roasting process removes all of the natural moisture retained by the timber. This gives the material incredible strength and stability, reduces weight, and creates a cool caramel hue!
• '60-Style "Oval C" Neck Profile — Provides a played-in "time capsule" feel that's extremely comfortable.
• Narrow Tall Frets — Offer a controllable feel for wide vibrato and pitch-perfect string bends.
• Dual-Stack HS Tele Wiring — Each potentiometer (master volume and master tone) is dual-stacked with 250k and 500k values. They are wired up so that each pot is 250k when using the bridge single-coil, and 500k when the neck humbucker is engaged. This ensures that each pickup is tonally optimised, for a balanced sound that lets the highs shine through!
• Texas Special Bridge Single-Coil — Over-wound for increased output, and made with alnico 5 magnets and enamel-coated wire for outstanding presence and mid-range punch.
• Josefina Hand-Wound Neck Humbucker — Made by the legendary Fender Custom Shop pickup winder Josefina Campos. This humbucker sounds thick and juicy, with the dual-stack HS Tele wiring ensuring that the treble frequencies blossom.
• Compensated Brass Saddles — Ensure incredible intonation and enhanced tone.
• Bone Nut — Traditional, low-friction material minimises unwanted tuning slips and boosts sustain.
• Vintage-Style Tuners — High-quality, old-school tuning machines allow for precise string pitching.
