It's no secret that Charvel Guitars are synonymous with the '80s and so-called "shredders", from a time when glam rock and metal bands dominated the airwaves. When the brand was brought back to life in the late 2000s, they maintained their iconic "super-Strat" formula but modernised their instruments for today's generation. Charvel's San Dimas bass guitars are similar, melding the company’s earliest bass models with contemporary appointments.
Boasting deep cutaways for effortless upper-fret access, lean caramelised (roasted) Maple necks, 12”-16” compound radius fingerboards with rolled edges, Luminlay side dots and immensely powerful DiMarzio pickups — not to mention Charvel HiMass bridges for incredible sustain — they offer a lot for the money!
