The NagaViper is a heavy duty treble booster. Based on the popular Dallas Rangemaster “Treble Booster”, used by guitarists like Iommi, May, Bolan and Tipton, this pedal boosts your signal into a heavy, harmonic rock tone. The Naga Viper pays homage to the famous pedal and build on it. With the addition of two extra controls - Range and Heat.
The RANGE knob is a continuous control which allows you to go from classic treble-boost to a full-range boost and anywhere in-between - as the original could only function as a set frequency "treble-booster".
The HEAT knob gives you control over the gain level saturation, unlike the original which was fixed at maximum gain so you can dial in your ideal tone easily.
Here’s what Catalinbread recommend you do with this pedal:
Set up your amp so that it is already overdriven a bit on its own. With non-master volume amps, this is usually with the volume turned up to at least noon. With master volume amps, set the pre-amp gain to have a moderate crunch overdrive sound. Set up the Naga Viper in classic treble-boost mode:
Range - full CW
Heat - full CW
Boost - full or almost full CW
Go ahead and play. You should be greeted with some awesome overdriven tone that makes you want to riff out! Now go ahead and experiment with the controls to get a feel for what they do. We'll cover them in more detail in the next section.
While the best thing to do is experiment your own signal chain, you'll find that it usually works the best after wah pedals and before fuzz and overdrives. ESPECIALLY before your overdrives! Also, don't place any buffered pedals before the Naga Viper as they will negatively impact the sound. Ideally, the Naga Viper should "see" your guitar pickups directly for the best response.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
