The Wharfedale WGR10 is a great, affordable little practice amp with hybrid tube and solid-state circuitry.
At 10-watts and with a single 8" speaker this amp is perfect for home/low-volume practice use where you might need to be a bit noise conscious. The hybrid circuitry of this amp means that there are tubes in the preamp while the rest, the power amp stage, is solid-state.
This design means you get some tube-influence on the tone and you get the reliability and consistency of solid state amps.
