Waves Audio produce some of the most widely used and critically acclaimed software for producers and musicians. Their releases deliver professional-grade sound and their software bundles offer unparalleled value for money!
A History of Waves Audio
Waves Audio was founded in 1992, beginning with the production of the first audio plugin the Q10 Paragraphic Equalizer. This was a first on a number of fronts; it was the first audio signal processor plugin, the likes of which are now commonplace in the industry. It was also the first to offer a graphic interface, offering unprecedented levels of detailed tweaking. Finally, it delivered a sound quality that equalled (or in some cases surpassed) its hardware counterparts.
This release put Waves Audio on the map; they continued to release ground-breaking software in a similar fashion, including the L1 Ultramixer which is still widely used to this day. The two co-founders, Gilad Keren and Meir Shaashua, were accomplished audio engineers and musicians who channelled their passion and experience into producing the products they wanted to use.
Since setting the bar with their early releases, Waves Audio has gone on to become an industry leader in digital audio software. Their products can be found in some of the top international studios, and are firmly established as go-to tools for the producer who seeks professional sound.
The Waves Audio Range
