    Product Description

Take your guitar tones to the next level with the Wample Pedals Velvet Fuzz pedal. Combining a classic fuzz with the sound of an EL34-powered stack you can be sire of a massive sound with a focused bass end and crisp top. The "tight" setting gives you big fuzz-like distortion, and when flipped to the "big" setting, the Velvet Fuzz delivers a classic fuzz tone with loads of compression. Rolling back your guitar's volume cleans up the sound for a fat rhythm tone. If you're looking for that fuzz-into-a-screaming-stack sound, then grab the Wampler Pedals Velvet Fuzz and start rocking!

Here's what Wampler say about the Wampler Velvet Fuzz Pedal

If you are a fan of the tones of the players like David Gilmour or Eric Johnson, then it could be that the Velvet Fuzz is the pedal you are looking for.

The key to the tone of the Velvet is the voicing switch. In the “big” position, the pedal reacts like a classic fuzz. Loads of internal compression and truly massive tones it really is that “tone” from that “era”. Dropping the volume back cleans it up perfectly so your rhythm can remain clear enough and then your solo's will flatten all those who dare to stand before you.

In the “tight” position, the tone comes in and you get the feeling you have swapped amps as well, those mammoth tones but without the compression and other traits that many fuzz players love... Yes, that's right. If you love the tone of Fuzz but not the reaction of it, this is the setting on the pedal that is for you.

Best fuzz I’ve ever played. Versatile, melodic, great tone, easy to dial in and built like a tank. I had almost given up on trying to find a fuzz that I really liked and got on with - glad I tried this. My search is over, this is my fuzz for life now. Absolutely awesome pedal.

It's a sweet Fuzz. It adds musicality without any harshness.

I cannot improve on another description which I read about this pedal. It is the fuzz pedal for those who usually can't get on with fuzz pedals. Clarity, sustain and personality. A very musical fuzz. Wonderful solo tone. My jam pedals fuzz phrase does the hendrix clean up on the volume pot of a strat much better however that's not what the velvet fuzz is about and thus this is an observation rather than a criticism. The Velvet Fuzz captures the Pink Floyd and Eric Johnson lead tone perfectly at full tilt.

A smooth and very musically tonal fuzz. If you want a fizzy, crunchy, noisey, nasty and un-musical fuzz then don't buy this one.

Received with a number of faults that is highly unusual with Wampler. I bought this pedal knowing how good Brian Wampler's design and build are and having played other VFs in the past. Will not buy another one online and will pop down to Peach when I have a spare day!

    Quality kit, great sound.

Top class bit of kit. Sound quality is superb!

So much more than just a fuzz pedal. This thing does great OD/Distortion too. Cleans up beautifully via your guitar's volume knob. Turns my Vox amp into a raging beast, whilst maintaining note clarity. Stacks great with a Spark Booster in front of it too. Highly Recommended.
