Product Description

The V847-C is an evolution of the classic Vox wah pedal. With specs that adhere closely to the original 1960s formula, the V847-C has a number of modern-day refinements that help it to successfully bring that distinctive wah tone into the 21st Century. Delivering a cutting-edge sound with exceptional presence and a wide sweep, the Vox V847-C will make anything from chords to solos stand out clearly in even the busiest of band mixes.

Contemporary Customisations

Vox has tweaked the frequency range of the V847-C wah so that it is set lower, with the gain boosted and the Q-value (the sharpness of the wah’s peak) adjusted to deliver a more potent sound with a low centre of gravity. The input impedance has also been adjusted to make the V847-C wah not only sound more powerful, but also tastefully warm and complementary of any guitar plugged into it!

True Bypass Circuitry

True bypass circuitry is becoming a standard feature among today's pedals, which is why Vox has integrated this into the design of its V847-C wah pedal. This means that your guitar's signal does not pass through the circuit when the unit is switched off, ensuring that its tonal character is unaffected and not subject to colouration.

Made in Japan

The Vox V847-C wah pedal is a true “made in Japan” product, meaning that it's been made with incredible precision and attention-to-detail. The pedal's front and bottom plates also feature illustrations of traditional Japanese artwork, giving it a truly unique look!
