Utilising a hybrid design, the TK Audio DP2 utilises both vintage-style and modern circuits to give you the best of both worlds. You get that classic thick, rounded, 70s-style class-A tone, as well as a more transparent modern sound.
The input stage on the DP2 utilises a high-quality Swedish Lundahl transformer and features a high-gain input stage. The DP2 has up to 80 db of gain so it can handle quiet input sources like a ribbon microphone and high-impedance inputs are located on the front for connecting guitars, basses, and synthesisers. With this high gain input stage, you can really turn up it for a naturally distorted sound. There’s a switchable germanium circuit which adds extra harmonics to the sound and can offer a 60s-style midrange crunch.
There are two separate output stages to choose from on the DP2. There’s a Carnhill transformer-balanced class-A stage which has a vintage character with an emphasised midrange and warmer tone. If you looking for transparency, then there’s the electronically balanced output stage that has a clean, less-coloured sound. Other features include a sweepable high-pass filter (30Hz-400Hz) and a switch for activating instrument input.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
