Product Description

The Spector Euro4 LX bass is designed for the modern player who wants to seamlessly jump between playing techniques and genres. It's crafted in the Czech Republic using top quality woods such as European Alder and USA Figured Maple for the body, as well as Maple for the neck. Built to be lightweight and comfortable for extended recording sessions and exhausting gigs — this is the ultimate workhorse!

Key Features

  • 3-Piece Maple Neck — Layered construction improves neck strength and thus tuning stability, while making it far less vulnerable to warping when exposed to varying climates.
  • Rosewood Fingerboard — Dark and silky material, featuring a modern radius and 24 frets for a wide 2-octave note range per string.
  • Active EMG Electronics — Flexible P/J configuration offers an incredible array of sounds for any musical situation, with various tone-shaping controls giving you complete sonic authority!
  • Lightweight Locking Bridge — Expertly-machined bridge guarantees solid intonation and dependable performance without adding unnecessary weight.
  • Gotoh GB-707 Tuners — Designed to offer a smooth action for precise string pitching.
  • Padded Gig Bag — Durable soft case protects the bass against knocks on the road!

History of Spector

Founded in 1976 by Stuart Spector and Alan Charney, Spector is regarded as one of the leading modern bass brands around today. When the company released its flagship NS-1 model in 1977, this instrument proved to raise the bar in the bass world with its contemporary feel, ergonomically-curved design and powerful pickups; qualities that most of its current bass offerings now share.

Spector has factories in both the Czech Republic and Korea, which produce the hand-made 'Euro' and affordable 'Legend' series' respectively. Their very best instruments are manufactured in a small North American facility. Renowned Spector players, both past and present, include Doug Wimbish (Living Colour), Rex Brown (Pantera) and Mike Starr (Alice In Chains).
