Product Description

The Spector Euro Bass is the ultimate live and studio bass with powerful pickups and a Maple body for maximum resonance. This Bass was made for the modern player able to jump from style to style but rock players have favoured it's massive low-end. Especially with the thunderous low B!

Made in the Czech Republic with top quality European woods this bass is contoured to feel comfortable against your body for any playing situation. And the Spector deep-socket neck will let you tackle any style of music with ease.

History of Spector

In the late 1970’s, Stuart Spector started crafting handmade basses in his Brooklyn based workshop. By 1977 He and Ned Steinberger had designed what was to become a revolution in the bass world.

The NS-1 stepped away from traditional large, angular bodied basses and created an instrument designed for the modern musician. With curves and contours which sit comfortably against the body, the NS-1 quickly became a favourite amongst progressive players.

The legend of the NS-1 has continued to this day, and the gorgeous curved body that made it unique is used the world over. Spector basses are still a favourite amongst modern players too with artists like Mike Inez (Alice in Chains), Doug Wimbish (Living Colour) and Tom Doyle (Don Broco).

Here's what Spector say about the Euro 5LX

The Euro 5LX offers all of the features that have made the Spector name famous around the globe.

The extremely comfortable, fully carved body is crafted from carved European alder and is topped off with your choice of a USA figured maple or European poplar burl top. A 3 piece maple neck runs through the entire length of the instrument and features a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with Spector’s signature Crown inlays.

Outfitted with a lightweight, zinc brass alloy bridge and nut, premium pickups and Spector’s coveted Tone Pump active tone circuit, Euro4LX basses are equipped to hold down the low-end on the world’s biggest stages.
