The SPD-20 PRO OCTAPAD builds on the renowned engineering and musical backbone of it's iconic predecessor - the SPD-20 OCTAPAD. Containing the very same beloved realistic sounds, alongside entirely new percussion, this next-gen pad is ready for the ever increasing demands of modern day drummers. Portable percussion has never been this good. 

Legendary Layout 

It provides the now instantly recognisable 8 pad configuration, ensuring you'll be immediately comfortable from the outset when you start to play. There's the same great playability from the original that you know and love, but now it's joined by an improved UI and improved functionality. 

Varied Audio 

Every sound from the original OCTAPAD is included here. They're bolstered by exciting new sounds too, offering an extensive library of drums, cymbals and percussion to select from. They've been meticulously sampled and encompass Western, Latin, African and Asian styles. With over 900 instruments to choose from (plus 100 preset kits), you won't run out of drumming ideas any time soon. 

Edit & Customise 

Using the clear LCD screen and suite of hands-on buttons, you'll be able to tweak the sounds to suit you. For example, layer up to four sounds on top of one another to craft drums completely unique to you. Compression, EQ and a trio of integrated effects engines (with 38 multi-effects types) can all be added to each instrument as well. You can even do this editing in real-time if you want. 

Live performance is made easier too. Use the kit chain function to queue up specific kits, which can then be instantly recalled when you need them during a set. 

Expansion Pads   

The SPD-20 PRO OCTAPAD incorporates a hi-hat control input and four dual-trigger inputs. These let you augment your OCTAPAD with additional trigger pads, cymbals, a kick pad and hi-hat control pedal - turning it into a small, compact drum kit!
