MIDI Functionality & Program/Direct Modes

The unit also offers MIDI compatibility for changing presets and parameters on digital MIDI-enabled effects, with each preset storing 5 MIDI PC and 5 CC messages. The Caiman allows you to send two latch/unlatch switch signals too, for changing amp channels, etc. You can use the Caiman Tail Loop in either 'Program Mode' for storing and recalling your custom presets, or 'Direct Mode' to engage each pedal loop individually — for manual control of your pedalboard. You may also bypass the entire switcher and all effects completely for that dry "direct-to-amp" tone.
