March 2020 Firmware Update
Line 6 have released a free firmware update for G10 units to solve a potential overheating issue. To ensure safe operation of your G10, it's imperative that you update to the latest firmware at first opportunity - click here for instructions on how to do so. It only takes a few minutes!
Please Note: Line 6 Relay transmitters are NOT compatible with active pickups.
The Line 6 Relay G10S builds on the already popular G10 formula by condensing it in to a pedalboard friendly format. With its compact size, excellent range, and great sound quality the G10S is just what you need to untether yourself and roam free on stage!
Pedalboard Integration
The G10S is designed to fit on and work with your pedalboard. The compact size means it won't look out of place amongst your pedals and won't take up too much space on the board. Additionally, its durable metal construction means that its built to endure the rigours of the stage. One of the most useful features on the G10S is the 9V DC power input which allows you to hook up to your pedalboard's power supply (or use the included power adapter). The G10S can also run off its rechargeable battery for 8 hours and the battery will go to sleep automatically when you're not playing!
Pro Sound
With the G10S being able to move freely doesn't come at the cost of tone thanks to its clear, 24-bit lossless digital audio quality. The G10S even has adjustable "Cable Tone" which emulates the sound and dynamics of a guitar cable so you won't notice a tonal difference when playing through the wireless system. Also, with a line of sight of up to 40m you won't have to hover around your pedalboard to enjoy crystal clear tone.
In addition to the standard 1/4" jack, the G10S has a balanced XLR output which means you can use it a wireless DI box to hook up your instrument to a PA system. This is especially useful if you like to forego an amp and run a mutli-FX/amp modeller directly into a PA.
Whether you're slotting it onto your pedalboard or running it solo the G10S is a great way to free up your stage from cables.
Here's What Line 6 Say About the Relay G10S
The Relay® G10S guitar wireless system is as powerful as it is compact. The stompbox-sized pedal offers professional features, rugged build quality, and plug-and-play operation at an easily affordable price. The Relay G10S system integrates seamlessly into any pedalboard or can function as a standalone unit. It features an impressive range of up to 130’ line-of-sight, enabling you to move about untethered on any sized stage—and the Relay G10S works equally well with bass.
Easy To Use
Getting up and running with the Relay G10S is simply a matter of turning it on—no complicated setup required. When the transmitter is docked the unit immediately locates and locks onto the strongest available wireless. You can also adjust the frequency selection manually, although you’ll probably never need to.
Built To Perform
Some wireless products in this price range are housed in plastic, making them less-than-optimal for stage use. Not the Relay G10S, which features a rugged metal housing designed to withstand the rigors of gigging. And RF and battery status indicators are conveniently located on the face of the pedal, making it easy to monitor system status at a glance.
Crystal Clear Sound Quality
Relay G10S offers pristine, 24-bit lossless digital audio quality. It’s equipped with Cable Tone, a proprietary Line 6 technology that matches the sound and response of an actual guitar cable for additional realism.
Versatile Power Options
The Relay G10S pedal has a convenient 9V DC power input, enabling you to connect it to either the included power adapter or your pedalboard’s power supply. The G10T transmitter runs on a rechargeable battery that lasts for eight hours. What’s more, the battery automatically enters sleep mode when you’re not playing, significantly extending how much playing time you can get from a single charge. When you’re ready to recharge, just plug the G10T into the Relay G10S receiver and it automatically begins recharging.
Pro Outputs
Relay G10S is equipped with two different outputs, making it extremely versatile. In addition to a standard 1/4” jack for connecting it to your pedalboard or amp, there’s also a balanced XLR output that allows the G10S to be used as a wireless DI box for applications such as connecting acoustic guitars or basses directly to a P.A.
