Product Description

Jimi Hendrix, Zakk Wylde, Jerry Cantrell. Guitar players with unfailing committment to sound, they've all made regular use of this pedal. The Rotovibe is a chorus/vibrato effect that can simulate rotating speaker sounds popularized by Hendrix and many others. The resulting sound, a combination of both amplitude and frequency modulation is a rich and complex mix of tremolo, phasing, pitch-shifting and ambience that you will have heard on various Beatles recordings from 1966 onwards, Clapton's arpeggiated riffing on Cream's Badge, Hendrix's lead on Little Wing and many more songs..

Expression pedals give you greater control over your tone than simpler "click on-click off" pedals and with the intensity knob on the side you can really nail down the exact sound you want.

Built to last

Roland are well known for relaible, tough equipment with a professional finish. Expression pedals take a lot of punishment and you need one thats able to take the strain. The solid metal shell and rubber grip foot pad will last longer and still sound great no matter how hard you stomp.

“Whether it's to spice up a solo, add an overdubbed color, or just a sound that can inspire songwriting—I've had a Dunlop Rotovibe in my pedal board since 1988.” – Zakk Wylde

Here's what Jim Dunlop say about the Rotovibe

This is a very expressive effect, thanks to its built-in real-time control. Choose either Chorus or Vibrato, adjust the intensity of the effect, and then control the effect's speed by rocking the pedal back and forth. A mainstay on Zakk Wylde's pedalboard. Power: Dunlop ECB003 AC Adapter or Single 9 volt battery

Not a pedal you’ll use everyday but a massive treat when you have an excuse to use it! Just playing with the different settings you’ll hear where they got some great sounds from on tons records from the 60s onwards... Bridge of Sighs makes itself very apparent quickly
