Product Description

The Monarkh is a recent addition to Jackson's lineup, with its LP-inspired shape meeting cutting-edge modern design. As part of the Pro Series, this instrument boasts a raft of premium features to offer optimal tone and playability.

With a comfortable compound radius fretboard to ensure no hindrances to your playing, you can get a hugely versatile amount of sounds out of the Seymour Duncan JB/'59 pickup combination!

Construction

The Monarkh SCG features a Mahogany body; a deep and rich-sounding tonewood that will give heavy riffs all of the low-end grunt they’d ever require. Adorned with an arched Maple top to add some top-end presence, this instrument’s stunning Gold Member finish is certain to catch the eager eyes of your audience!

Paired with a set 1-piece Mahogany neck, this adds some further mid-range warmth and sustain. Reinforced with Graphite, this neck will remain stable even in differing temperatures and conditions, meaning you won't have to tinker with your setup very often at all.

A compound radius fretboard is an excellent, high-end feature of this instrument. Rounded at the lower end of the neck to make chords easier and more comfortable to play, the fretboard flattens out in the higher register to make shredding a total breeze. This also helps to prevent notes from fretting out when performing string bends, making it a very ergonomic design.

Electronics & Hardware

This elegant instrument is powered by a pair of high-output Seymour Duncan humbuckers. Capable of handling copious amounts of gain, it’s worth mentioning that they’re not simply one-trick ponies. That’s because these pickups also offer articulate and luscious tones with clean settings, especially when you engage both humbuckers.

The TB-4 (JB) in the bridge position delivers all of the upper mid-range bite you'd expect, for optimal definition when playing technical riffs. The classic '59 neck pickup has a smooth yet punchy tone, ideal for complex lead work. With a three-way switch you can get the pure, unbridled power of the bridge pickup, the creamy tone of the neck pickup, or a combination of both for balanced-sounding cleans.

The Jackson TOM-style adjustable bridge keeps things solid, with a smooth and ergonomic design that keeps your right-hand comfortable when playing intense palm-muted riffs. At the other end of the guitar you’ll find a set of Jackson-designed locking tuners, keeping your tuning stable and making string changes a total breeze.
