27-fret guitars are hard to come by, and Jackson has only ever made models with this incredible extra range available through its Custom Shop division - until now! After much demand from die-hard shredders, Jackson's Wildcard Series Soloist Arch Top Extreme SL27 EX is their first ever production guitar featuring this astounding amount of frets.
Featuring a comfortably-carved body, ultra-fast neck, compound radius fingerboard, high-output DiMarzio pickups, Gotoh tuners, Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons and a Floyd Rose tremolo system; the Soloist Arch Top Extreme SL27 EX is made for pure performance.
Modern Construction
A trusted tonewood combination has been used to construct the Jackson SL27 EX. The pairing of an Alder body with a 3-piece Maple neck ensures a balanced sound with plenty of mid-range attack and high-end clarity - ideal for anything rock and metal!
The modern neck-through design ensures that the Soloist Arch Top Extreme SL27 EX has a sleek premium feel with incredible note sustain, as well as unhindered access to all of its 27 frets via the sculpted heel.
Shred-Tastic Neck
The neck is arguably the most important feature of any guitar when it comes to feel. And fortunately, the Jackson Wildcard Series Soloist Arch Top Extreme SL27 EX features a neck so playable that you'll feel practically no difficulty when sweeping, tapping or attempting lightning-fast scale runs!
With a super-thin profile, the SL27 EX's neck is exceptionally elegant and sports a smooth satin finish for a quick and slippery feel. The Ebony fingerboard also comes fitted with jumbo-sized frets for controllable vibrato and string bending techniques, and boasts a 12" to 16" compound radius that flattens out the higher you ascend. Graphite reinforcement rods are installed along the neck for extra stability too, keeping your tuning well in check.
Powerful DiMarzio Pickups
A pair of DiMarzio pickups give this forward-thinking guitar a truly potent voice. With a Super Distortion DP100 bridge humbucker and an Air Norton S DP180W in the neck position, these ultra-hot pickups dish out plenty of output - delivering the perfect blend of power and tone. Expect boosted mids, focused lows and vibrant highs from the Super Distortion bridge pickup, with the dual-rail neck pickup able to cut through a heavy mix with lots of harmonic bite.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
You must: spend over £300, be at least 18 years of age, have been a UK resident for 3 years or more, be able to make repayments by Direct Debit, be in regular employment (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your partner who is in regular employment.
