Ibanez Signature Series Guitars

Today, Ibanez boasts a huge endorsee list, and that brand continues to support countless musicians within the industry with their superb guitars and basses. A select few, however, have their very own signature models, based on some of Ibanez’s most famous designs. Featuring their favoured pickups and hardware appointments, these instruments give fans the opportunity to play the same gear as their heroes.

The most noteworthy players on Ibanez’s current roster include renowned guitar virtuosos Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. As two of the longest-serving Ibanez players, Vai’s flamboyant JEM guitars are particularly distinctive, and helped put Ibanez on the map back in the ‘80s. Featuring bold fluorescent finishes, versatile H/S/H pickup configurations, double-locking tremolos and the infamous “monkey grip”, the JEM is considered a modern classic.

If you’re more of an extended range player, the APEX is the signature model of Munky from nu-metal titans Korn. Much like the JEM, this 7-string has also featured in the Ibanez catalogue for many years, but if you want something that offers even more performance, the JBM Jake Bowen (Periphery) signature guitar is practically made for modern shredders.
