Product Description

The Hansen Guitars T-Style is a hand-crafted instrument, with its design deriving from one of the world's most famous guitar shapes. Taking the spirit of that iconic model and retaining its signature components, the Hansen T-Style has the extra finesse that you'd expect from a custom instrument. Featuring premium woods and high-end hardware appointments, Hansen ensure that only the best tones are possible with their guitars.

Construction

The T-Style's body is formed from lightweight African Mahogany, a tonewood that Hansen uses exclusively across its entire range. Offering a gloriously deep and rich sound as you'd expect from Mahogany, this lighter species also gives you a more open and resonant tonality, with a brighter top-end and a punchier mid-range.

Paired with a bolt-on European Maple neck, this material provides a bright snap to notes, with lots of definition and attack. Medium-sized Hard German Silver frets adorn the 12" East Indian Rosewood fretboard, giving a vintage feel that will satisfy traditionalists without alienating contemporary players.

Electronics & Hardware

A pair of hand-wired Hansen T-Tone pickups deliver that authentic spank synonymous with this iconic guitar design. Made using Alnico 5 magnets, these pickups offer a potent mid-range and a vibrant top-end, working equally as well with clean and overdriven sounds.

The Stainless Steel bridge features Gotoh/Wilkinson WT3 Tilt Swivel Saddles, which maintain that traditional look and feel whilst also keeping your string intonation at its optimal position. With the Gotoh Kluson-style tuners at the headstock, tuning stability is excellent with this instrument.

A signature Hansen feature is the Norwegian Moose Bone nut. Buried in the earth for a year, this natural treatment leaves the bone hard and beautifully tinted, making it perfect for shaping.

Hansen Guitars

Hearkening from Denmark, Hansen Guitars offer premium hand-made instruments constructed from some of the finest materials and components available. Since 1984, owner and luthier Henning Hansen has dedicated the majority of his life to crafting some of the most exemplary instruments currently on the market.
