Dreadnought Body Shape

A Dreadnought acoustic has a large body that produces a lot of volume and depth to its sound. This is one of the most popular acoustic types. They’re favoured by blues, country, folk and rock musicians after a warm, natural sound.

Construction

The type of wood an acoustic guitar is made from significantly alters the sound it produces. Walnut offers a beautifully warm sound, often coming with a premium price tag. A solid Spruce top adds clarity and colour to the sound of the guitar. The satin finish will protect it against bumps and scrapes and give it a raw, earthy look.

I know its not an expensive guitar but if I was a beginner, I would be a bit disappointed how the fret end were very sharp when you went up and down the fredboard, still good value for money though

I'm a beginner but it sounds better than previous guitars I've tried and seems to be perfect for what I need at the moment.

Looks are stunning , finished better than expected for the price, big sound . Still seeking better clarity on sound but I am not used to such a size so there;s some user error in there. Bought as a second acoustic to take outside ( festivals , parties etc) rather than bash my PRS. Cannot comment yet on durability - too soon.

The guitar itself is of decent quality for the price overall, although my particular example has two problems. The frets seem to not have been finished off. There is a horrible scratching sensation when bending a string. I also find the tuning heads bad quality. They do not feel accurate and some of them are already feeling like they slip. There was a label on the guitar which said quality control AAA, which is not the case with my guitar.
