Body & Neck
The Deluxe Atlantic is a curvy single-cut guitar that offers solid humbucking tones. The body is basswood, offering a simple balanced tone that’s the perfect platform for fat pickups. 7-ply binding rounds it off with a luxurious look.
The multi-piece neck employs a strip of Walnut sandwiched between solid Maple. This helps counter the subtle Basswood/humbucker combination with extra top-end brightness, great for lead playing clarity.
Hardware & Electronics
As mentioned before, twin USA Seymour Duncan humbuckers deliver a warm but gutsy snarl. But thanks to the tonewood choices and coil-tap controls, the Deluxe Atlantic is no one-trick pony. It’ll clean up beautifully, just as suited to jazz as it is to anthemic rock.
