Cole Clark Fat Lady Guitars

The Fat Lady series is the oldest in Cole Clark’s catalogue, first introduced in 2003. Comprised of a number of Dreadnought-shaped acoustic guitars, these models project loudly with plenty of mid-range punch; a perfect choice for singer-songwriters.

Cole Clark Fat Lady Guitars

Cole Clark's Fat Lady lineup is split into three sub-series: Fat Lady 1, Fat Lady 2 and Fat Lady 3. At Andertons Music Co. we are currently stocking their Fat Lady 1 and 2 acoustic guitars, all of which are hand-made in Australia using sustainable, indigenous tonewoods.

So, what's the difference between Cole Clark's Fat Lady 1 and 2 series? The instruments from the latter come with deluxe hard cases as standard, which offer great protection on the road. Cole Clark Fat Lady 2 guitars also feature "snowflake" fingerboard inlays and classy timber binding, while the Fat Lady 1 series models sport simpler dot inlays and have no binding.

Guitars from the Fat Lady series boast many of Cole Clark's signature features, including carved bodies, the famous integral neck construction, Spanish heel neck joints, nitrocellulose finishes, Grover tuners and Graph Tech nuts. Electro-acoustic Fat Lady series guitars are also equipped with the class-leading Cole Clark 3-way pickup system, which provides the most natural amplified acoustic sound possible.
