Product Description

Brute Force

The Brute Force pickup series from Bare Knuckle Pickups is designed for progressive metal to extreme metal players that want high gain, plenty of saturation but with good clarity and note definition.

At some point most of us have tried to nail a really heavy riff but it just doesn’t sound right with the sometimes wimpy, classic pickups that come in our guitars. The Brute Force is the answer if what you really want is insane gain and saturation.

Humbucker 50mm

This pickup is a humbucker designed to fit a guitar with a standard stoptail or 50mm bridge. You may have heard of this being call ‘standard’ or ‘G’ spacing in the past.

To find out if this is the right pickup check your string spacing measurements at the bridge and the nut.

Nearly all guitars will use either ‘Standard’ or ‘F’ spacing. As a rule of thumb fixed bridges are ‘Standard’ and tremolo systems are ‘F’ spaced. This is not always the case though.

Here is how to check.

All of these string spacing measurements are the distance between the first and 6th string.

If your string spacing at the bridge is less than 53mm you need a standard (50mm) humbucker for the bridge. If it is 53mm or greater you will need the F spaced bridge pickup.

If your string spacing at the nut is less than 43mm then you need a standard (50mm) humbucker for the neck position. If it is 43mm or greater you will need the F spaced neck pickup.
